Neon Jets Rock the FirstRobotics Competition!
In last Saturday's Regional Competition, JM's Robotics Team finished twelfth after all the qualification matches, we were the Leader for the one of the 8 Semifinal Alliances, and our Alliance finished sixth overall. This was a really stunning performance by our team - we were up against 54 other teams from across the south east. We had the one of the simplest yet most reliable and consistent robots on the field - which, while under-appreciated amidst the glitter of our competition, is the essence of good engineering! The team was also featured in the News and Observer.
